The article titled, “Hip spica versus Rush pins for management of femoral diaphyseal fractures in children” published in Indian Journal of Orthopaedics1, issue 5, Vol. 48, pages 488-94, is being retracted.

It has been found that the article titled “Primary hip spica with crossed retrograde intramedullary rush pins for the management of diaphyseal femur fractures in children: A prospective, randomized study” on similar lines has already been published in Nigerian Medical Journal2, issue 2, Vol. 55, pages 111-5, by the same author.

Due to duplicity of content, the concerned article is being retracted from the journal.
