Dr Sharad Chaudhari passed MBBS from Pune University and MS Ortho from KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 1966.He worked as Hon professor in Pune. He was practicing orthopaedic consultant in Pune since 1971. He was visiting surgeon at BJMC, Jahangir Hospital and Maharastra Arogya Mandal. He read plenty pf scientific papers in conferences. He was a PG teacher, PG and UG examiner at various universities. He invented manually operated CPM machine.

He was founder member and secretary of M O A and Poona Orthopaedic Society. He became president of M O A in 2005. He was organizing secretary of MOACON 1992 and of IOACON 1995 at Pune. He took keen interest in building of MOA. MOA could start Orthopaedic journal first time due only to his efforts. Inspite of his ill health he use to attend various meetings and events of MOA and IOACON 2005.

He was awarded with Samaj Shree and Bharat gaurav awards. He was keen Golfer and won Prizes in cricket, badminton, Tennis, Swimming.

HE passed away due to acute myocardial infarction on 26 th Oct.2005. He survived by this wife Dr. Mona, Son Anand and married daughter.
