Trachanteric fracture femur with ipsilateral nonunion neck femur is a rare injury. This report describes a case in which the patient developed trochanteric fracture of the right femur despite having a twenty-five-year old nonunion neck femur in the same bone. The fresh fracture was managed conservatively.
