For resistant variety of club foot, untreated club feet in older children and in cases of club feet with failed conservative treatment one stage combined postero-medial soft tissue release was done. We have operated 53 cases with 76 feet between 1972 and 1978 but only 39 cases with 50 feet which could be followed for more than 2 years were included in this series. We observed excellent results in 56 per cent, good in 36 per cent, and poor in 8 per cent of feet. Twenty four per cent of feet showed minor and major type of relapse.
