Traumatic separation of pubic symphysis is a rare injury and occurs in 2.5 to 4 percent of all the pelvic fractures (Fuhs et al.1978). Minimal pubic diastasis may, however, be observed as a complication of child birth (Cibils 1971, Sharp 1973). We are reporting a case of severe disruption of Symphysis pubis.
