Epiphyseal dysplasia is an unusual condition characterized by bilateral symmetrical, irregular development of epiphyseal ossification centers. This results in limitation of certain joint movements, various deformities and shortening of stature. It was first described by Jansen in 1934 but the first complete description was reported by Fairbank in 1947. This paper presents one such case with some unusual features.
